Iced Dandelion Chaga Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried chaga mushroom
  • ½ tablespoon dandelion root
  • ½ tablespoon dandelion leaf
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • Ice
  • ½ cup cold milk of choice
  • Ground cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

  • In a mug, combine the dried chaga mushroom, dandelion root, and dandelion leaf.
  • Pour the boiling water into the mug and allow all to steep for at least 10 minutes.
  • Strain the ingredients, then stir the maple syrup into the still-warm infusion.
  • Allow the infusion to cool to room temperature.
  • Place ice into a favorite glass, pour the milk over the ice, followed by the infusion.
  • Dust with ground cinnamon before serving.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

You can make the hot version of this latte by skipping out on the ice and heating the sweetened infusion and milk on the stovetop over medium heat until warm throughout.
