DIY Melt and Pour Grapefruit Dish Soap Recipe
This simple yet effective dish soap recipe utilizes real grapefruit zest for its invigorating scent and its natural solvent, odor-neutralizing, and antibacterial properties, making it a great addition to any dishwashing routine.

- 4 ounces shea butter melt and pour soap base
- Zest of one whole grapefruit
- Optional - grapefruit essential oil if you want a stronger scent
Instructions
- In a double boiler over medium heat, add the soap base.
- Stir until fully melted, about five minutes.
- Turn off the heat, then stir in grapefruit zest.
- Pour the soap into soap molds of choice.
- All the soap to cool and set at least a few hours before removing from the molds.
- To use, wet the soap and run a dish brush over the bar before scrubbing dishes.
- Keep unused bars stored in a cool, dry place for up to one year
