Snowy Woods Winter Bath Soak

This bath soak recipe is inspired by snowy woods! Its cozy scent and soothing salts are perfect for your next relaxing winter bath.

Materials

  • 1 cup Epsom salt or coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • ¼ oat flour or finely ground oats
  • 1 tablespoon dried juniper berries
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter shavings
  • 5 drops vanilla essential oil
  • 3 drops cardamom essential oil
  • 2 drops juniper essential oil
  • 2 drops rosemary essential oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the salt, oats, juniper and rosemary. Stir until evenly blended.
  • Gently fold in the cocoa butter shavings.
  • Add your essential oils drop by drop, stirring well to distribute the fragrance evenly.
  • Transfer your soak into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid for storage.

Notes

To Use: Scoop ½ to 1 cup into warm bath water. For easy cleanup, place the mixture in a muslin bag before adding to the tub. Soak for at least 20 minutes to allow the botanicals and salts to work their magic.
