DIY Floral-Infused Hand Salve Recipe

Give your hands a little TLC with this homemade flower-infused hand salve. Made with nourishing oils, creamy shea butter, and a touch of beeswax, it melts into your skin to soften and soothe.

  • Infuse the oil by adding dried flowers (approx. 2 tablespoons each of calendula, rose, and lavender) to a clean glass jar. Cover with ¾ cup of your chosen carrier oil. Seal the jar tightly and place it in a warm, dark spot for two weeks, shaking gently every few days. Once infused, strain out the flowers using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  • Melt the infused oil, shea butter, and beeswax in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring occasionally until melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in essential oils, if desired.
  • Pour the melted mixture into tins or jars, allowing to cool until solidified.
  • Store at room temperature and use as needed.
