Melt and Pour Soap Recipe with Dried Flowers

This beautiful, naturally decorated soap is moisturizing, but with gentle exfoliating properties. Enriched with a creamy shea butter base, it will leave your skin feeling undeniably smooth and pampered.

Equipment

  • Floral-themed silicone soap molds

Materials

  • 2 tablespoons mixed dried flowers I like to use calendula, rose, lavender, and violet, crushed
  • 9 ounces shea butter melt and pour soap base
  • 15 drops floral essential oil blend optional

Instructions

  • Sprinkle half of the dried flowers into the silicone mold(s) until evenly dispersed.
  • In a double boiler over medium heat, melt the soap base until liquified.
  • Turn off the heat and stir in the essential oil(s) if using.
  • Pour the soap base into the flower lined molds.
  • Immediately sprinkle the remaining flowers over the soap base.
  • Let the soap set and harden.
  • Enjoy right away or store in a cool, dry place for up to 18 months.
