    Ingredient Notes

Elderflower cordial: This is a key ingredient. It's also incredibly easy to make, as you will find in my Elderflower Cordial recipe post.

Sparkling water: This contributes to the refreshing fizzy drink power you will find in this recipe. See the 'fun variations' section below in this post for more options.

Ice: This adds slight dilution and the chilled factor which greatly complements the other ingredients.

    How to Make Elderflower Fizz

    Step 1: Make elderflower cordial.
Step 2: Combine cordial, ice and sparkling water in a glass. Enjoy!

    Fun Variations

If you'd rather make this mocktail a cocktail, replace half of the sparkling water with a clear liquor of choice. Gin works extraordinarily well!

For a fruity spin, replace the plain sparkling water with fruit-flavored sparkling water.

    Where to Find Elderflowers

Learn all about identifying and foraging elderflower.

Elderflowers can sometimes be found at local farmer's markets in the summer and can also be purchased online and shipped directly to your home. Gourmet Sweet Botanicals is a great place to purchase elderflower and other edible flowers.

What to Pair with Elderflower Fizz

Snacks like Air Fryer Apple Chips, Sweet Plantain Snacks, Chickpea Crackers, or this fire crackers recipe.

Sweet treats like Matcha Cake, Fruit Cake, or Almond Flour Cookies.

This summer drink would also pair beautifully with some of these summer dessert recipes.

This was the most perfect and refreshing drink for the non-drinkers at the party. Some people mixed it in with a little gin though 😉 The cordial is divine, and smells florally and sweet. Just gorgeous!

Looks so delicious and refreshing for summer. I hope I can get some store-bought elderberry cordial since there isn't any elderberry flowers where I live. I can't wait to give this a try.
