    • They’ll fill your home with an elegant fragrance with hints of ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove.
    • They’re easy to make. You only need a handful of ingredients to start making them.
    • They’re perfect for gifting to friends and family on anniversaries, birthdays, or any occasion.

    • They’re cheaper than store-bought variants like soy wax melts.

    Ingredient Notes

Yellow Beeswax: Acts as an eco-friendly base that melts slowly in the wax warmer so it releases rich scents longer. You can use pellets or grated beeswax for this project. White beeswax works too!

Bronze Shimmer Mica Powder: Adds a warm, shimmering glow to the wax melts.

Terracotta Shimmer Mica Powder: Provides a glowing metallic sheen.

Gold Shimmer Mica Powder: Gives a warm, radiant glow, making the pumpkin spice wax melts more visually appealing.

Pumpkin Spice Essential Oil Blend: Imparts the warmth and cozy, non-toxic fragrance of autumn to the wax melts.

These shimmery mica powders are my favorite!

    1. In a double boiler over medium heat, melt the beeswax, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.
    2. Remove from heat and mix in the mica powders and essential oil until fully blended.
    3. Pour the mixture into the silicone molds of your choice.
    4. Let cool and set for at least 2 hours until solid.
    5. Carefully remove from molds and enjoy!

    Top Tips

    • If preferred, you can add other fragrance oils or essential oils, such as orange, clove, cedarwood, or vanilla, to create the perfect autumn scent.
    • If you want a stronger scent, start with the recommended amount in this recipe and then gradually increase it. Just ensure you don’t exceed the wax’s fragrance load capacity, or else the excess oils will separate from the wax and make your wax melts feel greasy or oily.
    • To make the wax melts even more festive, sprinkle some cosmetic-grade glitter into the molds before pouring the wax.
    • Simply place the wax melts on fragrance warmers and embrace the invigorating scent!

    Storage

These melts will maintain their scent for at least a year if stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and other heat sources. You can keep them in airtight containers or resealable plastic bags for protection against external elements, which can cause fragrance loss, sweating, or mold growth.

Also, keep the wax melts out of the reach of children or pets to avoid any untoward incident, such as accidental ingestion.
